The Club's contest will be held on February 25th, with the Area contest the following week, March 4th.

We are looking for participants!

• You need to have completed at least 6 CC speeches to be eligible for the International Contest
• However, anyone who is in good standing may compete in the Evaluation contest.

We are also looking for help with the Contest. We'll need (1) a Chief judge, (2) ideally 5 other judges,(3) two timers, and (4) three counters.

The International Speech Contest (sometimes erroneously called the "Serious Speech Contest" or the "Motivational Speech Contest" to distinguish it from the "Humorous Speech Contest") is an annual Toastmasters contest that runs through all levels of the organization. Starting with club level contests in the early months of the year, contestants proceed through higher levels until reaching the finals at the Toastmasters annual conference. Toastmasters from all over the world participate, and the winners are awarded the title "World Champion of Public Speaking."
